Administering local anesthesia or prescribing pain medication to alleviate discomfort.

Placing a filling to protect the tooth and surrounding
tissues from cutting through sharp edge of the tooth.

Draining an abscess or infection to relieve pain and
swelling.

Extracting a severely damaged or decayed tooth that cannot be saved.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment is a dental procedure to remove infection from a tooth by removing the dead or dying tissue. The treatment is usually performed if the nerve/pulp of the tooth is not able to be saved by other methods, such as a crown or a filling.

Reimplantation

If a tooth is knocked out, it may be possible to reimplant it. To maximize the chances of success, it’s essential to act quickly and follow these steps:

  • Place the tooth in a cup of milk to keep it moist and protected.
  • Seek dental care immediately, ideally within 60 minutes of the injury.
  • Bring the tooth in cup of milk with you to your dental appointment.
